Basso starts with bright grapefruit, then moves into a slightly leathery, spicy floral heart of labdanum, carnation and Mayflower. The base layers vetiver, sandalwood, oakmoss, peppers, nutmeg and guaiac for a dense, resonant dry-down that feels both classical and modern.
